JIU-JITSU WITH MANO AMIGA ACADEMY
Our coaches are deeply engaged in weekly Jiu-Jitsu classes at Mano Amiga Academy, a school dedicated to offering comprehensive educational opportunities, including K-10 education, skills training, culinary employment, and programs for values and spiritual formation. Through these classes, the children of Mano Amiga have been immersed in Jiu-Jitsu for over a year, getting better at the martial art each day. This initiative reflects our commitment to using our expertise to empower young minds and contribute positively to their growth and development.
JIU-JITSU WITH EVEREST ACADEMY
Our coaches offer weekly Jiu-Jitsu club classes at Everest Academy, the Philippines' first international Catholic K-12 school and a member of Regnum Christi. Students from Everest Academy receive firsthand training from our coaches, allowing them to hone their Jiu-Jitsu skills. This training aids in their personal development by enhancing their physical fitness, discipline, and self-confidence, while also instilling important values such as respect, perseverance, and teamwork.
BILIBID OR NOT: A FEEDING PROGRAM FOR 2,600 INMATES AT BILIBID PRISON
In the heart of Muntinlupa City, our team at Lucas Lepri Philippines (LLP) embarked on a heartwarming initiative, the Bilibid or Not Cookout. Over 2,600 medium-security inmates at the New Bilibid Prison were treated to a delightful holiday feast prepared by renowned local chefs JP Anglo, Ninong Ry, and Chavi Romawac.
The event aimed to support the Philippine Jesuit Prison Service Foundation Inc. (PJPS) and its scholarship program, ensuring that deserving children of incarcerated parents receive a formal education. With a common goal of shedding light on the struggles of persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) and their children, LLP, in collaboration with PJPS, envisioned establishing an endowment fund for sustained support.
